I forgot one other item on my "brushes with sports greatness". Hanging with Charlie Hough eating KFC and watching the highlight film of the 78 All-Star game at my elementary school.
Not making the list:
Walking by Robert Horry at the Hard Rock.
Passing Danny White at Treasure Island
Watching Jenny Finch be bored out of her skull as she had to do an appearance at my gym's Hawaii Trip Give Away.

My sporting brushes with greatness:
1) seeing Samaki Walker at a blackjack table in Vegas (casino unknown)
2) Giving Bill Walton a ride in a golf cart and having him make fun of me
3) Playing in a floor hockey league against Jeff Farkas, who played an injury-shortened season with the Toronto Maple Leafs
4) Having Donovan McNabb ask us if he could join our pickup football game when we were both still at Syracuse... and then subsequently learning he was only joking.
