The feel good hit of the summer has opened an 8 1/2 game lead over the evil Twins and 9 1/2 over the Tribe who I also hate with a passion.
We will see what this team is made of come the end of July and August. When we get into it with the Twins, Yankees, the O's, Indians and Red Sox. We will see if this team is for real.
Damn it, we can not screw this up. This team owes it to the White Sox Village to win. We have had enough I want to be able to hold something over Cubs fan other than Bartman.

The White Sox are for real and, more importantly, not injured. The O's just lost Melvin Mora and his .340-or-so batting average, we've been missing Javy Lopez and lefty Erik Bedard for awhile now, and previously played for a stretch with the aforementioned out along with Sammy Sosa and Luis Matos. Even Brian Roberts missed a couple of days. Thank God for Bigbie, Newhan, Gibbons and Fasano.
For now. Lord knows when Carl will go ferral and someone gets hurt. But knowing my luck the entire pitching staff will suffer from bad clams, come playoff time. Afterwards it will be determinded that the clams were tampered by Tito "Fucking" Landrum. Then you will hear of a boy in Costa Mesa who got up in a bell tower. Well you know the rest.
